A new £500,000 forest adventure zone is sliding into action in the Scottish Highlands this summer, in a major family tourism boost for the Cairngorms National Park.
Work is now underway at Landmark Forest Adventure Park in Carrbridge, located between Aviemore and Inverness, including a new six-lane toboggan run-style attraction.
The first of its kind in Scotland, the new experience is expected to bring 10,000 more visitors to the park over a 12-month period.
Suitable for adults and children aged four years and over, the toboggan run will allow up to six people to race through an undulating network of open-air and undercover lanes. Height restrictions apply. The new ride is expected to be used by up to 45,000 people in July and August during the summer holidays.
Additional visitor attractions will include bouncing pillows, an obstacle course, a hexagonal swing, an accessibility roundabout, a climbing frame, musical instruments and a sand pit suitable for all abilities.
Established over 56 years ago in 1970, Landmark is an award-winning visitor attraction offering a variety of over 22 indoor and outdoor attractions, including Wild Water Coasters, climbing attractions, Butterfly House, and Dinosaur Kingdom.
Landmark is located at Carrbridge, just off the A9 between Inverness and Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park. Ticket prices include the new forest adventure zone, toboggan run, and access to all other attractions. £33 per adult and £31 per child aged four and over.
